Dragonfly Fibers is known for high-quality knitting and crochet yarns which are hand-dyed in vibrant, rich, sometimes crazy colors. Many of the base yarns are proprietary and cannot be found anywhere else.Assigned pooling is a fairly new dying technique which is becoming popular with knitters and crocheters. I
The dying technique involves dyeing a hank of yarn so that about three-quarters of the yarn “circle” is dyed in one color or set of colors; this is the main color. The other quarter is dyed in a distinctly different color or set of colors. That part is referred to as the accent color.

Lovely yarn

I’ve been knitting for many years, and this pooling yarn I’ve recently discovered is so fun. I’m knitting a cowl, and it’s working up beautifully with merlot colored stripes. The merino is soft and stretchy, and easy to work with. I’ll definitely get more. Thank you.
